The 2024 G5 Aurora’s

Little did I know that on the night of the 11th of May, while setting up for some deep space imaging of my M51 project, would I be graced with the presence of the severe geomagnetic storm. As dusk was setting in, it was made clear that the auroras were covering my entire view of the sky, 360 degrees. This video I am sharing with you is a compilation of the auroras I witnessed that night, from dusk all the way to when it peaked, and put on the most incredible show I had ever seen. These images were taken from every direction. North, South, West, East and even straight up at zenith. All from my dark site location of 41°N latitude.
