Deer Lick Galaxy Group

The Deer Lick Galaxy, cataloged as NGC 7331, is an unbarred spiral galaxy that is roughly 40mil light years away from us, which can be found in the Pegasus constellation. It’s companions which you can see nearby however, are much much further away at an astonishing 300-500mil light years away, making them some of the furthest known deep space objects I have ever captured. Also in this image you will find Stephan’s Quintet, a group of galaxies made famous by the Hubble Space Telescope. This photo was completed in September of 2023.
